Insurance
Through ANCA, Choirs and Individuals can be covered for Volunteer Accident Insurance and/or Public Liability insurance.
Through ANCA, choirs can be covered for Public Liability when they rehearse or perform up to $20,000,000 limit liability.
Volunteer Accident Insurance
- Membership must be current at all times
- Through ANCA, individual members and Choir members are covered for Accident Insurance during performances and rehearsals, providing that they are volunteers less than 80 years of age. Choir members aged 81 – 85 may be covered with negotiation. Please contact us for details
- All members' choral related activities such as festivals, workshops and seminars are covered
- Choirs with orchestras may also be covered by negotiation
Public Liability Insurance
- Membership must be current at all times
- Through ANCA, choirs may be covered for Public Liability when and where they perform up to $20,000,000 anywhere in the world, except in the USA and Canada. Should some choir visit those countries, an extra premium is required. Contact us for details
Personal Accident Insurance
ANCA would like to offer Personal accident insurance for all members who are paid for their services or role.
If your conductor, choir members and/or accompanists are paid an honorarium or fee they will not be covered by the Volunteer Accident Insurance cover. If you as a choir would like to cover your conductor, choir members and/or accompanist for accident insurance please complete the attached "expression of interest" form. There is no obligation to take out insurance by filling in the form.
