Janet has a diverse career in Music. As both an educator and musician for the past 20 years, Janet has worked in New Zealand, the USA as well as Australia. While completing a Masters degree at New York University in Music Education, with a major in choral conducting, Janet worked on Broadway productions including "Gypsy Passion" and the Tony Awards Ceremony. Janet has the experience of conducting choirs of all ages, from Primary School right through to Adult community choirs. She often adjudicates Choral music festivals as well as previously conducting the 600 voice Education Queensland Choral festival, and running choral workshops for schools and community choirs, as well as professional development workshops for conductors.
Janet is also currently reseaching Australian choral conductors for her PhD.
