Yarra Gospel is a community choir that sings well known gospel songs and modern arrangements of traditional spirituals. We practice on Thursdays 7pm at The Avenue Church, 1 The Avenue, Surrey Hills Vic 3127 It's only $15 per session and the first night is free. People can join Yarra Gospel at any time of the year because the environment is friendly and encouraging, especially for those who haven't sung in a choir for a long time. There is NO audition! The rehearsals begin at 7.00pm and are led by Ed Chan. We finish each rehearsal at 9pm then enjoy a wine and cheese supper together which is a great hit! Newcomers tell us they feel very welcome.
