Seeking men who want to sing a cappella
The Melbournaires Harmony Chorus is an auditioned choir and sings four-part close harmony predominantly in the “barbershop” style.  We have been singing for over 30 years and currently have about 40 members.  We are part of a 1,000 strong fraternity of Barbershop Harmony Australia and are the largest such choruse in Victoria.

Our repertoire covers songs from traditional and musicals to some of the more popular songs by artists including Freddie Mercury, Billy Joel, Peter Allen, Eric Clapton, Neil Finn and many others.

Singing is of course our main purpose, but enjoyment, camaraderie and fun are major components of our times together.  We perform regularly in public to a variety of audiences including community festivals, charity fundraisers, retirement villages and corporate events, and there is always an element of humour built into our performances.

We compete in regional and national events, and performed in September 2023 at the Pan Pacific International Convention in Auckland NZ.

We are always looking for new members.  For more information visit www.melbournaires.com or email to enquiries@melbournaires.com
