The Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir (BICC) was founded in 1886 and is reputed to be Queensland's longest continuously-performing choir. The Senior Choir (adult) is seeking an accompanist due to the retirement of our current accompanist. Rhythms of the Reef Chorus Inc. Bundaberg Qld. Seeking a Musical Director Rhythms of the Reef, is seeking a Musical Director to lead our Chorus in 2023. Affectionately known as Rhythms, we are an incorporated, not-for-profit, community chorus of women, who ‘love to sing’, especially a cappella in part harmony. Our membership is open to women of all ages and levels of musical experience. Established and performing for over 20 years, the chorus has a diverse repertoire to entertain any audience. We sing at community events, including Citizenship Ceremonies, for local community organisations, as well as Christmas functions. We perform for residents of Lifestyle Villages and Aged Care facilities. The Chorus has attended the Maryborough Eisteddfod and achieved first places across a variety of categories. Applications are now open for our next enthusiastic, experienced or emerging leader, a person to encourage us to continually improve, help us provide excellent entertainment for audiences, and join us in experiencing the joy of singing at our best. St Peters Church Choir, Indooroopilly offers Choral Bursaries of $1000 p.a. for singers aged from teens to 25 years. Bursary holders attend weekly rehearsals with music industry professionals, conductor Tricia Elgar and accompanist Gregory Mayer. They participate in monthly choral services at the SPLC Chapel, Indooropilly, with extra choral services at Christmas and Easter.

The Berrima Singers The NSW Southern Highlands region (located an easy 90-minute drive from Sydney) boasts a high concentration of residents with a strong background and interest in the arts. Based in Bowral, the Berrima Singers presents up to four concerts each year across the region. River City Voices is Parramatta's flagship auditioned symphonic choir. Our choristers perform a wide range of music from classical to contemporary. Highlights from this year include: amazing Brahms choral works with the Willoughby Symphony; the World Premieres of specially commissioned choral works from local Indigenous composers; the release of a new album of newly arranged songs and Live performance as part of a unique collaboration with neurodiverse muscians from Club Weld; the Messiah at the Sydney Opera House alongside sydney Philharmonia, and our own totally new presentation at Riverside Theatres - Slam Messsiah - featuring local slam poets, plus presenting a unique performance as part of the Sydney Opera House's 50th birthday celebrations. LAUNCESTON MALE CHOIR Position Vacant – Musical Director/Conductor The Launceston Male Voice Choir, a community choir based at Launceston in Tasmania is looking to appoint a suitable Musical Director/Conductor to commence in 2023. The Choir Established over 80 years ago, the choir has a membership of 20 singers that practice Tuesday afternoons at Glenara Lakes retirement village at Youngtown, from 2 to 3.45 The Choir has a varied repertoire of music from folk, musical theatre, contemporary, spirituals, jazz, country & western, and classics. A piano is accompaniment for practice, plus for concert performances access to modern audio equipment. Purchases are made of regular music which is held in an extensive library. We are a small friendly female vocal group performing classical a Capella pieces as well as contemporary classical barbershop-style pieces.
