    Description: ChorusOz | Mahler 8
    Sydney Philhamonia Choirs’ much-loved ChorusOz returns to the Sydney Opera House this June. And in ’23, we’re taking on the biggest of them all – Mahler’s monumental Eighth Symphony, the “Symphony of a Thousand”. We're looking for 1000 singers from the community, as well as 100 young choristers (12-17) to join the star soloists and musicians of The Sydney Youth Orchestra. 

    ChorusOz welcomes singers of every ability from across Australia and the globe to the Sydney Opera House for a fantastic weekend of workshopping the score with the soloists and orchestra, culminating in a performance in the Concert Hall.

    There are singers from Ireland, UK, Germany, New Zealand and from every state and territory in Australia registered. ChorusOz is open to absolutely everybody – no audition, no prior singing experience, just a passion for singing.
