JOIN THE UPBEAT ARTS TEAM – GOLD COAST Upbeat Arts is seeking an exceptional Choir Piano Accompanist to work with our new Gold Coast Choir. This role supports our Conductor in fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and contributing to the artistic and personal development of our members.
WHO IS UPBEAT ARTS? Upbeat Arts provides group-based recovery programs tailored for long-term clients of Queensland Mental Health services, focusing on enhancing confidence, self-esteem, communication, and life skills. Our arts programs foster social connections, positive mental health, and overall well-being. Singing in an Upbeat Arts choir offers our members a supportive and enjoyable environment to connect with like-minded individuals. As a non-government, non-profit organisation and accredited organisation, we are dedicated to transforming lives through the arts. Since launching our inaugural choir in Brisbane in 2014, followed by a second in North Brisbane in 2022, and more recently a third on the Sunshine Coast in June 2024, we continue to expand our impact. The new Gold Coast Choir is first part of the roll-out of 4 new choirs across South East Queensland. Additionally, we conduct two creative writing workshops each week for our members to enjoy.
