Yarra Gospel is a community choir that sings well known gospel songs and modern arrangements of traditional spirituals. We practice on Thursdays at St John's Church, 552 Burke Road Camberwell (just near Camberwell Junction) It's only $15 per session and the first night is free. People can join Yarra Gospel at any time of the year because the environment is friendly and encouraging, especially for those who haven't sung in a choir for a long time. There is NO audition! The rehearsals begin at 7.15pm and are led by our team: Yvonne Giltinan and Ed Chan. We finish each rehearsal at 9pm then enjoy a wine and cheese supper together which is a great hit! Newcomers tell us they feel very welcome.
