The Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir was founded as an adult choir in 1886 and is now reputed to be Queensland's longest continuously performing choir. Since these early days, the choir has developed into a more broad-based organisation, catering for almost all ages of performers. All choirs present passionate and inspiring performances of some of the best of the world's choral music repertoire and aim to foster the development of artistic and musical excellence in the Ipswich community.
