Fleurieu Singers since 2008 have sung an eclectic mix of music (much of it a capella) ranging from 15th Century to the present day. The repertoire is SATB, and usually each year a major choral work is performed. The choir has enthusiastically participated in the Big Sing performances to date. There are around 30 participants predominantly from around the Willunga Basin. Our wonderful current director Alex Roose is a highly experienced singer and leader of choirs. He most expertly guides and encourages the choir, and there is excellent tuition in technique as we rehearse each week. Fleurieu Singers aims at a high standard of singing with several public performances each year.
