Community choir with open membership. The emphasis is on classical music, including folk, opera, sacred and film. Music is sung in unison, duet, trio or SATB, sometimes with a soloist. It may be accompanied or acapella. We concentrate on good voice production, and its relationship to the whole body, with every rehearsal starting with relaxation and limbering exercises. Some home practice is essential. A major themed concert is held once a year, together with a Christmas concert in December.. Shorter performances are given as requested, such as the Yankalilla Show, or other special occasions. Yearly fee $100 payable in two installments of $50.Uniform supplied on loan.
