Women of Note

The Central Victorian Women's Choir Inc. perform under the name Women of Note?. The choir is a non-auditioning, performing women's choir who meet weekly to share wonderful music and friendship and whose members network with other choirs and singers to enjoy a variety of singing experiences and ideas. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening during School Terms between the hours of 6.45 and 9.00 p m. The choir currently has a membership of fifty women of all ages and from all walks of life who enjoy singing a range of music that includes traditional songs from around the world, as well as classical, folk, popular, modern and more recently, some new Australian works. New members, aged 18 years and over, are always welcome so if you are interested in our choir, please contact the Secretary for further information (secretary@womenofnote.org.au). The choir is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote personal growth and music education through practice and local performances in an atmosphere of fellowship and harmony. We perform regularly in Bendigo for a variety of community events and have been culminating each year with a concert of our year's repertoire.
