Christ Church North Adelaide is a traditional Anglican church where music is highly valued. The mixed voice choir sings at weekly Choral Eucharist and Choral Evensong services, drawing on a wide-ranging repertoire spanning the rich tradition of Anglican church music, frequently including works by Australian composers, and commissioning new music. The Choir and musical life at Christ Church is supported by the David Gallasch Memorial Music Trust. Opportunities currently exist to join the Choir of Christ Church North Adelaide. As well as an almost endless number of voluntary positions, there are also a limited number of Choral Scholarships available to dedicated tertiary students. Singers need not be Anglican, nor have any particular religious affiliation. The ability to read music is essential, as there is a high turnover of music.
