Description: | ![]() Canticum Chamber Choir, with conductor Emily Cox AM, presents the iconic Renaissance masterwork 'Spem in Alium'. Tallis' famed 40-part motet, written for eight five-part choirs, bathes the listener in awe-inspiring waves of sound and motion. Other works from throughout the ages will complement this glorious aural experience, including pieces by Grieg, Vaughan Williams and Whitacre as well as a setting of the Ubi Caritas by former choir member and composer Joseph Twist, and the beautiful Only the Light by current choir member, rehearsal pianist and organist Phillip Gearing. |
