VACANCY FOR MUSIC DIRECTOR
The Sydney Welsh Choir is seeking a Music Director as the current Director is leaving Sydney at the end of the year. This choir was formed in 1978 and has many followers in the greater Sydney area.
We practice on Wednesday nights at West Ryde Community Hall during school terms. From April to December we usually have a concert each month. Our repertoire includes mainly contemporary material plus some traditional Welsh hymns and songs, all generally in four part harmony. Currently we have 22 active singers. An honorarium is payable.
