Music Director, Port Harmony
Located in Port Stephens
Port Harmony is a 22-strong vocal ensemble, incorporated in 2010. Located in beautiful Port Stephens, their mission is to bring high quality musical entertainment to the people of the area.
Supported by an active and capable committee, the ensemble holds at least one major concert annually, as well as performing for local community groups and private functions. They hold an extensive library of choral music, related to their repertoire, which includes Classical, Broadway, Jazz and more.
This group is seeking a Music Director (MD), to assist them in moving forward and further developing their skills. This is a paid position and is available from February 2024.
The position would suit an experienced person, looking for a part time activity or a younger person keen to develop MD skills.
Port Harmony meets weekly in Salamander Bay on Wednesdays from 4.30-6.30pm, with breaks as appropriate throughout the year.
