Description:	The Canberra Choral Society (CCS) welcomes Spring with Songs of Open Country, directed by Dan Walker, CCS Music Director, with Anthony Smith on piano. The program features beautiful choral music that evokes a sense of place, tells stories of vast landscapes, and celebrates the celestial forces that shape them. Hear Traditional Icelandic and Appalachian songs alongside contemporary works by David Childs, Lili Boulanger, Burt Bacharach, Ola Gjeilo, Elaine Hagenberg, and Australian composers Daniel Brinsmead, Michael Dooley, Kate Miller-Heidke and Dan Walker. An uplifting and delightful musical evening not to be missed!
